One Has a Flood. One Has a Project. Your Site Is Built for One of Them.
Two people arrive at the same site with opposite needs. One has water coming through a ceiling and wants a phone number within about two seconds — everything else on the page is an obstacle. The other is planning a bathroom for March and wants photographs, a sense of price, and evidence you finish what you start. Almost every site serves one and quietly loses the other, and which one it serves is usually an accident of who designed it.

Six things they want in opposite directions
This is the whole design problem in one table. Read down the middle column, then the right one, and notice that almost nothing is shared.
- The emergency wants a numberThe project wants photographs first
- The emergency wants nowThe project wants a date in March
- The emergency skips the priceThe project needs it before calling
- The emergency is on a phone, outsideThe project is on a laptop, in the evening
- The emergency wants callout termsThe project wants a proper quote
- The emergency will not readThe project will read everything
You do not solve this by compromise, because the compromise page is slow for one and thin for the other. You solve it by deciding which visitor the homepage belongs to, giving the other a route that is one obvious click away, and then genuinely building both. The mistake is not choosing wrong — it is never choosing, and ending up with a page that hesitates.
The compromise page is slow for one and thin for the other
The emergency path is almost entirely about removal. A tappable number in the first screen without scrolling, the same number everywhere, hours and callout terms stated plainly, and a page light enough to render on poor mobile data outside somebody’s house. Nothing clever, nothing that loads a third-party widget first, and no cookie banner covering the phone number — which is common enough to be worth checking on your own site right now.
The project path is the opposite and needs actual substance. Photographs of finished work that are genuinely yours, an honest indication of cost, a description of how a job runs and how long it takes, and proof that survives scepticism. This is the path that most trade sites treat as a gallery page and lose, because the person planning a bathroom is comparing three firms carefully over a fortnight and choosing on confidence rather than price.
What connects them is a small number of things that serve both: real photographs rather than stock, plain language about what you do and do not do, and the areas you actually cover. Everything else diverges, and pretending otherwise is what produces the page that hesitates.
On reviews, one caution. Testimonials are the highest-value content on this kind of site and also the most tempting to invent. A page of unattributed praise reads as invented whether or not it is, so fewer real ones with a first name and a place beat a wall of anonymous quotes. That is a build decision too: design the component for the number you actually have.
- ✓Decide who owns the homepage — The other gets one obvious click. The failure is hesitating, not choosing.
- ✓The emergency path is subtraction — Tappable number in the first screen. Nothing loading before it.
- ✓Check the banner is not covering it — Common enough to be worth looking at your own site right now.
- ✓The project path needs substance — Real photographs, honest cost, how a job runs. Not a gallery page.
- ✓Design reviews for the number you have — Few attributed ones beat a wall of anonymous praise.
You do not solve this by compromise. The compromise page is slow for one visitor and thin for the other.
What a trade site actually needs
Six things, and the first is a choice rather than a feature.
Pick the Primary Visitor
Emergency or project, decided and written down, with the other one click away. Every later argument about the homepage is really this argument arriving late.
A Number You Cannot Miss
Tappable, in the first screen, identical everywhere, and not hidden behind a consent banner. Obvious, and wrong on a surprising share of the sites we are sent.
Fast on Bad Mobile Data
Built light, because the urgent visitor is outside a house on a weak signal. A site that needs four seconds has already lost that call to whoever loaded first.
Your Own Photographs
Finished work, before and after, taken on a phone if necessary. Stock photography of a smiling stranger in overalls actively costs you the planning visitor.
Honest Money on Both Paths
Callout terms for the emergency, indicative project costs for the planner. Two different answers, and refusing to give either loses both.
Reviews Built for Reality
A component designed for the number of genuine, attributed reviews you actually have. A wall of anonymous praise reads as invented whether or not it is.
What clients say
Real clients, quoted in their own words — published with their permission.
“We’re very thankful to Ghalib and his team for building a fully-functioning website for our business.”
“It was a pleasure working with Ghalib and his team.”

— Our Proprietary Methodology —
The Visibility Framework™, applied in Local Services
The method doesn’t change by market. What it’s pointed at does.
Audit & Discovery
What the current site earns, where it leaks, what your competitors do better, and what the new one must achieve. Ends in a written scope and a fixed price — not an estimate that grows.
Structure & Design
Sitemap, wireframes and user journeys agreed before decoration, then a design system applied consistently. You approve the shape before we make it beautiful.
Build & Test
Front end, back end, CMS and integrations, on a staging site you can see from day one. Tested on real devices, real screen readers and real slow connections.
Launch & Improve
Redirects verified, analytics connected, handover recorded — then we look at what real visitors actually do and fix what the design assumed wrongly.
Honest, No-Nonsense Commitment
The price we quote after discovery is the price you pay — if we underestimated the work, that is our problem, not a change request. And on any rebuild, if organic traffic drops because of something we did at migration, we fix it at our cost, however long it takes.
Website Development pricing for Local Services, in USD
Quoted per build and deliberately not large. A trade site that costs more than it can plausibly return is a bad build regardless of how good it looks, and this is the one sector where we will actively talk a project down in scope.

What you’re actually committing to
Most agencies keep this in a contract you only see after the sales call. We would rather you knew now, because it is the question everyone asks second — right after the price.
- A fixed price, agreed before we startQuoted after discovery, not estimated on a call. If the work takes longer than we thought, that is our risk — the price does not move unless you change the scope.
- 50% to begin, 50% at launchNo large upfront payment held for months, and nothing owed until the site is live and you have seen it working.
- You own everythingDomain, hosting, code repository, design files and content — all in your name from day one, and still yours if we never work together again.
- No proprietary lock-inStandard, widely-used technology only. Any competent developer can take the site over, and nothing stops working because you stopped paying us.
- Two rounds of revisions per stageIncluded at wireframe and design stage, where changes are cheap. Beyond that, or after sign-off, changes are quoted before any work starts.
- 30 days of support after launchBugs and small tweaks included as standard. A care plan afterwards is optional, never automatic, and cancellable with 30 days’ notice.
These are the terms as they appear in the agreement itself — nothing here is softened for the website. The full wording lives in our terms and conditions, and you get the agreement to read before anything is signed or invoiced.
