AI Automation for Recruitment

Automate Everything Except the Decision About a Person.

Recruitment is the strongest case for automation on this site and the one with the sharpest limit. You win by being first with the right person, so every hour of chasing, scheduling and formatting is directly costing you placements. But a rejection is a decision about somebody’s livelihood, and if you cannot explain why it was made, you cannot defend it — to the candidate, to your client, or to anybody who asks later.

The Numbers First

Two sides to serve, and both of them are waiting

A recruitment business has two customers who both experience your speed, and almost none of the delay between them is skilled work.

  • Arranging one interviewSix messages, three diaries
  • Chasing a referenceThe classic dead week
  • Reformatting a CV to the client templateEvery time, by hand
  • Candidates asking for an updateSilence is why they go elsewhere
  • Clients asking for an updateThe same question, other side
  • Writing the job advertFrom a briefing call and a template

Row four is worth more attention than it gets. Candidates rarely leave because they were rejected — they leave because nobody told them anything, and a silence of two weeks costs you the person and the referral. It is also the single easiest thing on this list to fix, because an honest status update needs no judgement at all, only a system that knows where things stand.

Straight Talk

We will not build automated screening or rejection

This is the most commonly sold service in our category for your sector and we are declining it, so it deserves a proper reason rather than a disclaimer. A rejection is a decision about a person’s livelihood. If somebody asks why they were rejected — and they do — the answer cannot be that a system scored them and nobody knows on what basis. An unexplained decision is an indefensible one, and it is your name on it rather than the vendor’s.

There is a second problem that is more practical and less discussed. Candidates now write CVs with the same tools you would screen them with. Automated screening in that world is a machine assessing a machine’s output, and what it selects for is skill at producing documents that pass filters rather than skill at the job. Everybody involved gets worse outcomes and the market gets noisier.

What we will do is take the work out of getting to the decision. Every CV in a consistent format so a human can compare like with like quickly. The information that is actually missing flagged before anybody wastes a call. Availability, notice period and location gathered up front by asking, rather than inferred. That is preparation, and it makes the human sift faster and better rather than replacing it.

If a supplier tells you their screening is unbiased, ask what it was tested against and who checked. “It seemed fine in the demo” is not a standard — and on this one the cost of being wrong is somebody’s job, which is why we would rather lose the sale than sell it.

  • No automated rejection — A decision about a person needs a person accountable.
  • No scoring you cannot explain — If you cannot say why, you cannot defend it.
  • Preparation, not replacement — Make the human sift faster and better informed.
  • CVs are AI-written now too — Screening them with AI selects for filter-passing.
  • Status updates are the cheap win — Silence loses candidates, not rejection.

What we build for an agency

Six builds around the judgement, and none that make it for you.

01

Interview Scheduling, Handled

Availability collected from both sides and a slot agreed without six messages and three diaries. The most immediately felt build here, by everybody involved.

02

Candidate Status Updates

Honest, on a schedule, from what is genuinely true — including “still waiting on the client”. Requires no judgement and prevents the silence that loses people and referrals.

03

Reference Chasing

The request, the reminder and the escalation, tracked, so the classic dead week stops being a dead week. Nobody has ever enjoyed doing this by hand.

04

CVs In Your Client’s Format

Reformatted consistently so a hiring manager compares like with like, with genuinely missing information flagged. Presentation and completeness — never a score, never a ranking.

05

Job Adverts From the Briefing

A first draft assembled from the briefing call and your own house style, so the consultant edits rather than starts. It stays a draft and a person sends it.

06

Client-Side Reporting

Where each role stands, sent before the client asks. The question you answer most often, removed — and it makes you look organised because you are.

— Our Proprietary Methodology —

The Visibility Framework™, applied in Recruitment

The method doesn’t change by market. What it’s pointed at does.

Step 01

Audit The Hours

Where time actually goes, task by task, scored on volume, repetition and the cost of getting it wrong. Ends in a ranked blueprint with estimated hours saved — yours to keep either way.

Step 02

Design The Guardrails

Before any building: what the agent may touch, where a human must approve, what happens when it is unsure, and which data is never allowed near a third-party model.

Step 03

Build & Evaluate

One workflow at a time, in your accounts, scored against real examples from your business before it touches live work. Shipped early so it meets reality while it is still cheap to change.

Step 04

Run & Improve

Monitored for cost, failures and quality drift. Models change, your business changes, and an automation nobody tends becomes a liability rather than an asset.

Honest, No-Nonsense Commitment

If the audit concludes that a task is not worth automating, we will tell you and refund the difference rather than build it anyway. And if a workflow we built does not hit the outcome we agreed in the blueprint, we keep working on it at no extra cost until it does or we take it out.

AI Automation pricing for Recruitment, in GBP

Quoted in pounds after the data conversation, because candidate records are personal data belonging to people who did not choose your suppliers. We do not sell automated screening or rejection at any price, and nothing on this page is legal or employment advice — we cite no legislation because the answer depends on your business, and a sales page is the wrong place to get it from.

What you’re actually committing to

Most agencies keep this in a contract you only see after the sales call. We would rather you knew now, because it is the question everyone asks second — right after the price.

  • The audit is credited, not sunkPay for the audit, and the full amount comes off the build if you proceed. If you don’t, the blueprint is still yours to hand to anyone else.
  • A fixed build price after the auditQuoted once we know what we are building. If it takes longer than we estimated, that is our risk — the price only moves if you change the scope.
  • You own everythingAccounts, API keys, workflows, prompts, evaluation sets, logs and documentation — all in your name from day one, and still yours if we never work together again.
  • Running costs are yours and visibleAPI usage is billed by the provider directly to you. We never resell tokens or mark up usage, and you see the real number.
  • The retainer is month to month30 days’ notice, no exit fee. Stop it and your automations keep running — you are simply maintaining them yourself.
  • Human approval is the defaultAnything customer-facing or irreversible needs a person until the evaluation data justifies otherwise, and that decision is yours to make, not ours.

These are the terms as they appear in the agreement itself — nothing here is softened for the website. The full wording lives in our terms and conditions, and you get the agreement to read before anything is signed or invoiced.
